(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksnblocal4.com\/2022\/10\/19\/elwood-murder-hire-case-trial-court\/\">KSNB<\/a>) &#8211; An\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/central.newschannelnebraska.com\/story\/47418415\/elwood-woman-arrested-for-allegedly-plotting-to-kill-five-people\">Elwood woman<\/a> charged\u00a0for an alleged murder-for-hire plot\u00a0is headed to trial court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"Article-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">39-year-old Valerie Miller is charged with five counts of attempted murder, murder conspiracy, and terroristic threats. On Tuesday Miller waived a probable cause hearing and her case was transferred to Gosper County District Court. Her next hearing is November 14th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the court records, Miller ultimately agreed with the agent and they allegedly made a deal that he would only carry out two murders, on her ex-husband\u2019s girlfriend and the girlfriend\u2019s adult son, for a total of $2,000.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"Article-paragraph\">The agent asked for a down payment, to which documents said Miller responded she had no extra money and she would pay them at the end of the week, the investigator states in the affidavit.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"Article-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Miller then left the parking lot and was pulled over a few minutes later by three NSP-marked vehicles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Miller\u2019s bail was set at 10% of $500,000.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ELWOOD, Neb.
